I'm definitely not a blogger - the medium is a bit too demanding for me, not being one of the Web 2.0 generation!
I do occasionally post papers, or presentations I've made, and some national documents of interest that seem to have 'gone missing' from public web sites.


An opportunity to speak about my research interests in the context of changes, past and future, experienced in the FE sector.

with, as part of my work with RSCs 2008/9, a contribution to RSC SE programme 24th March 2009, and documents put together for RSC London e-Strategy workshop in April 2009

For 3 months in 2008 I was focussed on bringing together the programme agenda for the UNESCO/Microsoft Education Leaders Forum -  http://blogs.msdn.com/elf08/ - stimulating! In 2009 ELF09 ran as an optional extra for the delegates to UNESCO's World Conference on Higher Education I organised the round table discussions and provided a background paper Our Higher Education Change Journey for ELF delegates.


Because it's not on the FEFC/LSC web sites any longer despite its historical significance for FE, here's my copy of the 'Report of the FEFC Learning and Technology Committee', better known as the 'Higginson Committee'. This report had substantial & continuing influence on the development of ILT/e-Learning in England's FE sector
